Being shot into international celebrity could be much for a young group of individuals to handle. But after being propelled into international sensations this group of talented individuals have thrived on delivering hit after hit. After initially recording a reference of ideas StreetCorna had to a instrumental they found laying around at the studio. They were surprised to learn that a few months later that same set of ideas had been leaked to international djs which in turn helped debut the song at number 25 on the top 100 Dj list through Japan and Germany in the summer of 2006. Though thoroughly surprised by this event StreetCorna regained their focus which they had lost due to several business dealings and began to jump back into the studio and record song after song. Which in turned spawned the hit I Just Wanna (rmx) which was the remix for their prior number 25 hit. Only difference is that this time the song went on to become the number 1 song on the international DJ charts for January 2007 through Germany, Japan, and the Netherlands.
Noticing that they now have a loyal following internationally StreetCorna then released another recording entitled On and Popping. After receiving a great response, the song then debuted at number 2 on the international Dj charts. After the great reaction to their latest singles, StreetCorna were met with many requests both internationally and nationally. They were featured on the famed migente.com artist profile spotlight and were also featured and interviewed on the internet based Make Mullah Radio which at the time had garnered well over 200, thousand listeners a night. Impressed with the ratings the station was receiving they were shocked to find that they had over 300, thousand listeners tuned in for the StreetCorna interview. This had set a new listener mark for the internet based radio station. After the initial interview StreetCorna were receiving many request for collabos, performances and hosting events. performing at many venues in New York City, Philadelphia and the State of Florida StreetCorna was in the process of creating a enormous buzz here in the states. While being asked to perform and host many events in the summer of 2007 including two events for Florida based radio stations 105.5 THE BEAT and 97.9 Latino, StreetCorna was shocked to know that both stations has given them airwave plays by playing their single I Just Wanna (rmx). While in the middle of all the insanity surrounding the group they made sure to handle their business aspect too by becoming SESAC Publshing artists, and also creating they own recording studio, in which they record, mix and master their own music.
In this day In age where ringtone artists are created and disowned in the same day, its refreshing and inspiring to see the hard work this young group of talented individuals have put in to receive the recognition they have.
